What it’s about. Der 14-jährige Victor (Romain Paul) lebt gemeinsam mit seiner alleinerziehenden Mutter Nadia (Clotilde Hesme) in einer aus kleinen Hütten und Wohnwagen bestehenden Küsten-Siedlung. Eines Tages beschließt der aufgeweckte Junge, sich auf die Suche nach seinem Vater, dem berühmten Dirigenten Samuel Rovinski (Grégory Gadebois), zu machen, der seit kurzem in der Stadt ist, um mit dem örtlichen Orchester Mahlers 6. Sinfonie aufzuführen. Als Victor unangekündigt bei Proben im Montpellier Opera House auftaucht, ist Samuel zunächst jedoch alles andere als angetan von dem jungen Besucher. Doch die anfängliche Feindseligkeit weicht bald einer vorsichtigen Annäherung, von der Nadia allerdings nicht allzu begeistert ist...
