What it’s about. Der Seismologe Jake Denning (Kevin Sorbo) plant mit seiner Verlobten Karen (Maeghan Albach) einen hochverdienten Urlaub zu genießen. Doch in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft des Ferienhauses betreibt der skrupellose Industrielle Taylor Drake (Matthew Tompkins) ein Bergwerk, in dem er nach Lithium graben lässt und ausgerechnet bei den letzten Bohrungen eine Ader des Alkalimetalls freigelegt wurde. Dieses reagiert nun äußerst feurig mit Wasser und beginnt „Jagd“ auf unschuldige Bürger zu machen.
