What it’s about. Nach dem unerwarteten Tod seiner Frau versucht Robert einen Neuanfang. Im selbst gebauten Wohnwagen reist der wortkarge Einzelgänger durch den Osten Deutschlands, um sich dort mit dem Aufstellen von Münzfernrohren durchzuschlagen. Während der Arbeit lernt er eines Tages Christiane kennen, die seiner verstorbenen Frau zum Verwechseln ähnelt. Die junge Mutter lässt sich auf eine Beziehung mit dem Wessi ein, weil sie ihn als Komplizen für ihre Rachepläne braucht. Mit seiner Hilfe will sie sich ihr Geld von dem Mann zurückholen, der sie um ihre Existenz gebracht hat. Doch dann entdeckt sie ein Foto von Roberts Exfrau.
