What it’s about. Die arme Sängerin Mary Blake kommt nach San Francisco und nimmt einen Job als Sängerin in der Spielhalle von Blackie Norton an. Gerade als es bei einem Gesangswettbewerb zum Eklat kommt, erschüttert das große Erdbeben von 1906 die Stadt und zerstört sie weitläufig...
