Dabei stoßen die beiden Biker immer wieder an die Grenzen einer intoleranten Gesellschaft, etwa in einem ländlichen Ort in Louisiana – wo sie die Feindschaft der Dorfgemeinschaft auf sich ziehen, bloß weil sie in einem Restaurant mit einem Mädchen flirten.
