What it’s about. Nach dem grausamen Tod einer Nonne wittert die junge Journalistin Nicole eine aufsehenerregende Geschichte. An der besessenen Ordensfrau wurde ein Exorzismus mit anschließender Kreuzigung durchgeführt. Im Kloster angekommen prallt Nicole an eine Mauer des Schweigens. Die örtliche Kirche verschweigt offenbar, die schreckliche Wahrheit. Doch schon bald verdichtet sich Nicoles Verdacht, dass tatsächlich ein Dämon hinter dem schaurigen Ereignis steckt. Ehe sie sich versieht, gerät sie selbst immer tiefer in die verfluchten Abgründe des Glaubens und ist plötzlich selbst in Lebensgefahr. Dämonen suchen sich nämlich am liebsten einen Wirt, der nicht an Gott und die Kirche glaubt - und da haben sie in Nicole ihr nächstes Opfer gefunden.
