What it’s about. Eine junge Frau (Kat Graham) hat einen ausgeprägten Hang zur Romantik. Während sie in der Schule als Lehrerin die Geschichte von Romeo und Julia lehrt, läuft es in ihrem persönlichen Leben alles andere als romantisch. Ihr Freund trennt sich von ihr und sie steht vor dem Scherbenhaufen ihrer Beziehung. Kurzerhand trifft sie die Entscheidung, nach Verona zu fahren. Ausgerechnet die Frau, die immer einen Plan hat, fällt diese impulsive Entscheidung und fliegt nach Italien in die Stadt, in der der berühmte Balkon aus Romeo und Julia zu finden ist. Doch dort angekommen, muss sie feststellen, dass ihr Apartment doppelt gebucht wurde und sie jetzt mit einem zwar sehr attraktiven, aber auch sehr verklemmten Briten (Tom Hopper) ihren Urlaub verbringen muss.
