What it’s about. Der Teenager Don Wallace wird von seiner Mutter auf ein Internat geschickt, das den ungewöhnlichen Namen „Slaughterhouse“ trägt. Dons Zimmergenosse Willoughby Blake scheint ein finsteres Geheimnis zu hüten und auch der Vertrauenslehrer Houseman weiß offenbar mehr, als er sagt. Aus dem nahegelegenen Wald lauert Gefahr. Dort hat ein Fracking-Unternehmen auf der Suche nach Erdgas ein riesiges, tiefes Loch gegraben…
