Dora, eine nicht unattraktive Frau Mitte 30, findet heraus, daß der Mann, mit dem sie ihr Leben verbringen wollte, mit einer anderen verheiratet ist, und daß diese Frau auch noch ein Kind von ihm erwartet. Frustriert sucht sie nun einen Mann, mit dem sie nicht das Leben aber die Elternschaft eines Kindes teilen will, denn sie brennt darauf, Mutter zu werden. Zu dumm nur, daß jeder Mann, der ihr über den Weg läuft, nicht auch nur im Geringsten in ihr Idealbild vom Manne fällt. Einen gibt es aber: Ein Arbeitskollege könnte theoretisch der Richtige sein, aber auch der hat eine Vorgeschichte!
