What it’s about. Clifford ist am Boden zerstört, seine Traumfrau hat den Weihnachtsurlaub mit ihm auf Hawaii abgesagt. Gemeinsam mit der Zufallsbekanntschaft Amanda ertränkt er seine Sorgen im Alkohol und lädt die kokette Blondine auf einen Urlaub ein. Als sie am nächsten Morgen neben ihm im Hotel wach wird, kann sie sich an nichts mehr erinnern. Schnell freundet sich Amanda mit dem Gedanken an, daß Clifford sie aushält und eine Menge toller Jungs ihr den Hof machen. Clifford lernt die bodenständige Claire kennen, mit der er sich viel besser versteht als mit der launischen, wankelmütigen Amanda. Bis er aber erkennt, daß Claire die viel bessere Partie für ihn ist, ist es fast zu spät.
