What it’s about. Für den Handel mit gestohlenen Kunstwerken sitzt Ray Cutter nun bereits einige Zeit im Gefängnis ein. Doch als ihn die Nachricht erreicht, dass sein Sohn an Gehirnkrebs im Endstadium leidet, fackelt er nicht lange und bittet einen Verbrecherboss um eine Gefälligkeit. Wieder in Freiheit fordert dieser alsbald die Gegenleistung: Ray soll ein letztes krummes Ding drehen und Monets "Frau mit Sonnenschirm" fälschen und stehlen. Währenddessen kommt Ray seinem todkranken Sohn Will der in den vergangenen Jahren von seinem Großvater aufgezogen wurde, schrittweise wieder näher. Er verspricht ihm, drei Wünsche seiner Wahl wahr werden zu lassen. Während seine ersten beiden Wünsche wenig überraschend sind, sieht Ray den letzten nicht kommen: Will möchte bei seinem Coup mitmachen. Nun steht Ray vor einer folgenschweren Entscheidung…
