What it’s about. Nach seiner Entlassung aus der Navy reist der junge Elvis (Gael Garcia Bernal) nach Corpus Christi, wo er dem ansässigen Pfarrer David Sandow (William Hurt) offenbart, er sei sein unehelicher Sohn aus einer Kurzbeziehung vor 20 Jahren.
