What it’s about. Nick Escalante, früher guter Freund eines bedeutenden Gangsterbosses, schlägt sich heute in Las Vegas mit Gelegenheitsjobs als Bodyguard und Prügelknabe durch. Und am liebsten setzt er sein Geld in den Casinos von Vegas ein und träumt von einer Reise nach Venedig. Eines Tages bittet ihn seine alte Freundin Holly um Hilfe, sie wurde von einem Unbekannten auf brutale Weise mißhandelt und vergewaltigt, jetzt will sie ihre Rache. Der Mann stellt sich als der Sohn eines einflußreichen Gangsters heraus und sein Vater ist ein Freund von Nick. Trotzdem nimmt Nick den Job an.
