What it’s about. Summary of "The Imaginary Invalid" Molière’s comedy "The Imaginary Invalid" (Le Malade Imaginaire) tells the story of Argan, a hypochondriac obsessed with his health. In the end, Angélique is allowed to marry Cléante, and Argan learns to live without his excessive fear of illness.
