What it’s about. Millionen Lichtjahre von unserer Erde entfernt: Friedliebende Trelkins wehren sich gegen die Angriffe der Broodwarriors. Die drohende Niederlage vor Augen, senden die Trelkins einen sogenannten Cybersuit, den Prototypen eines von ihnen entwickelten, hochtechnisierten Kampfanzuges, zur Erde, um ihn dem Zugriff des Feindes zu entziehen. Das Raumschiff mit dem Cybersuit landet auf einem Schrottplatz. Spencer , dessen Leidenschaft Comic-Superhelden aus fernen Galaxien gilt, findet das Raumschiff mit dem Kampfanzug. Neugierig und mutig zugleich steigt er in den Anzug – womit das größte Abenteuer seines Lebens beginnt!

How it landed. With an audience score of 6.2/10, Star Kid has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $7M at the box office.
