What it’s about. Es war einmal vor nicht allzu langer Zeit, da lebten am Rande der kleinen, beschaulichen Stadt Kromer in England zwei 'Wölfe' namens Seth (L. Williams) und Gabriel (J. Layton). Wegen seines wölfischen Gebarens wird der unerfahrene Jüngling Seth aus dem Kreis seiner Familie verbannt. Daraufhin nimmt sich der selbstsichere und erfahrene Wolf Gabriel seiner an. Gegenseitige Anziehung erfaßt sie und wider ihrer wölfischen Art verlieben sie sich ineinander... Währenddessen braut sich in der Stadt Kromer Unheil zusammen. Fanny (R. Davies), eine böse alte Jungfer, und ihre tumbe Komplizin Doreen (M. Towner) trachten ihrer Herrin Mrs. Drax (R. Dunham) nach dem Leben. Sie richten ihr Opfer so her, daß es aussieht, als haben die Wölfe es gerissen. Mit dem Priester (K. Moore) an der Spitze, heftet sich ein fackelschwingender, fanatisch-religiöser Dorf-Mob an die Fersen ihrer unschuldigen Jagdopfer ...
