What it’s about. England, 1215, die rebellierenden Barone haben den verhassten König John gezwungen, sein königliches Siegel unter die Magna Carta zu setzen, ein Dokument, das die Freiheitsrechte für die Bevölkerung garantiert. Doch wenige Monate später bricht der korrupte König sein Wort und stellt ein brutales Söldnerheer auf, mit der Absicht, das Land wieder unter seine tyrannische Herrschaft zu bringen. Dafür muss er jedoch zuerst das mächtige und strategisch wichtige Rochester Castle einnehmen. Noch weiß King John nicht, dass sich in der Festung eine handvoll tapferer Rebellen unter der Führung von Tempelritter Marshall verschanzt haben. Erst auf dem Schlachtfeld wird ihm klar, dass man sich nicht mit in die Enge getriebenen Tempelrittern anlegen sollte…
