What it’s about. Alicia wollte eigentlich nur einen entspannten Urlaub mit ihrer Cousine Sara in Südamerika verbringen. Umgeben von der atemberaubenden Landschaft des chilenischen Seengebietes entwickelt sie jedoch langsam eine Angststörung. Verstörende Bilder ziehen vor ihrem inneren Auge vorbei und sie weiß nicht, wie sie damit umgehen soll. Zu allem Unglück wird sie auch noch von Sara zurückgelassen, die nach Santiago weiterreist. Alicia ist nun mit einigen von Saras Freunden, darunter Bárbara sowie der etwas sadistisch veranlagte Brink, auf sich allein gestellt. Alicia versinkt immer weiter in ihre unheilvollen Gedanken und Visionen. Angst und Schrecken treiben sie vor sich her und sie möchte nur noch fliehen - vor dem Ort und vor ihren eigenen Gedanken.
