What it’s about. Im Frankreich des 18. Jahrhunderts muss die verwitwete Marquise de Merteuil zu ihrem Missfallen erfahren, dass ihr derzeitiger Geliebter Gercourt ihre unschuldige 15-jährige Cousine Cecile heiraten will.
