What it’s about. Internationale, CGI-animierte Neuauflage der Schlümpfe, an der auch der deutsche KiKA beteiligt ist. Es gibt ein Wiedersehen mit altbekannten Charakteren wie Papa Schlumpf, Schlaubi, Hefty, Handy, Jokey, Torti, Clumsy, Beauty, Toulousi, Harmony und Schlumpfine. Auch der gefürchtete Erzfeind Gargamel ist wieder mit von der Partie und versucht, die Schlümpfe zu fangen. Erzählt werden komplett neue Geschichten, die nicht auf früheren Vorlagen basieren. Größte Veränderung: Schlumpfine erhält weibliche Verstärkung. Als neue Figur taucht Willow auf, eine tapfere und weise Matriarchin eines neuen Stammes von weiblichen Schlümpfen.
