What it’s about. Der Schock dürfte für Carver groß sein, als plötzlich sein im Dienst getöteter Partner, Detective John Major, wieder lebendig vor ihm steht. Ein Jahr nach seinem Tod im Einsatz wird der Top-Ermittler im Rahmen eines Experiments mit künstlicher Intelligenz in einer digitalen Version neu zum Leben erweckt. Sein Partner Carver darf bei ihrer wiederaufgenommenen Zusammenarbeit die Macken des Kumpels ausbaden, während sich das Duo auf die Suche nach Majors Mörder macht.
