What it’s about. Der Oberschüler Akatsuki Iride, der für seine Let’s-Play-Videos bekannt ist, stößt eines Tages auf das geheimnisvolle Computerspiel „Naka no Hito Genome“. Es geht das Gerücht um das immer wieder Spieler die kurz davor stehen das Spiel abzuschließen spurlos verschwinden. Nachdem Akatsuki das Spiel durchgespielt hat wacht er am folgenden Morgen an einem ihm unbekannten Ort auf der dem Videospiel gleicht. Gemeinsam mit sieben anderen Streamern erhält er die Aufgabe gegen die unterschiedlichsten Monster zu kämpfen und in dem Live-Stream der das Spiel überträgt 100 Millionen Klicks zu erhalten. Nur so kann er in seine „normale“ Welt zurück kehren.
