What it’s about. Amon, ein Schwertschmied, stößt im Wald zufällig auf einen Säugling und dessen tote Mutter. Obgleich er anfangs mit der Situation überfordert ist, entscheidet er sich schließlich, den Jungen mitzunehmen und ihn so vor dem sicheren Tod zu bewahren. Zehn Jahre nach dieser schicksalhaften Begegnung geht der Junge von damals, Gai, bei Amon in die Lehre. Während der Herstellung eines Schwertes kommt es jedoch zu einem tragischen Unfall, bei dem Gai seinen rechten Arm verliert. Daraufhin entscheidet Amon ein Schwert namens Shiryuu zu benutzen, um daraus einen künstlichen Arm für Gai zu fertigen. Und so beginnt es...
