What it’s about. Der Stadtteil Akihabara in Tokio, kurz Akiba, ist das Mekka japanischer Otakus. Hier können die exzessiven Fans ihren Hobbies und Fetischen freien Lauf lassen. Allerdings treiben neben den Anime- und Manga-Fans auch fiese Vampire, die Bagurimono, ihr Unwesen, die sich von der Energie der Figuren-Jäger, Cosplayer und Manga-Fans ernähren. Die einzige Möglichkeit, die Vampire aufzuhalten, besteht darin, ihnen die Klamotten vom Leib zu reißen und sie so dem Sonnenlicht auszusetzen. Als Tamotsu der niedlichen Matome begegnet, ahnt er noch nicht, dass auch er schon bald den Vampiren auf die Pelle rücken muss!

Who’s in it. Akiba’s Trip: The Animation stars Yuki Takao as Kozakua (voice), Rie Takahashi as Matome Manseika / Urame Mayonaka (voice), Haruki Ishiya as Tamotsu Denkigai (voice) and Haruka Yamazaki as Kati Raikkonen (voice), among others.
