What it’s about. Starmyu erzählt die Geschichte von fünf Schülern: Yuuta Hoshitani, Tooru Nayuki, Kaito Tsukigami, Kakeru Tengenji und Shuu Kuga. Sie alle kämpfen darum, der Ayanagi Academy beizutreten, welche sich auf die Musik spezialisiert hat. Die jungen Männer müssen nun von der Star Frame Class akzeptiert werden, welche direkt von Mitgliedern der Kaou-Kai unterrichtet wird. Zu den Kaou-Kai gehören die Talentiertesten aus der Musikabteilung und die somit an der Spitze der Rangliste stehen. Glücklicherweise werden Yuuta und die anderen dann von Itsuki Ootori entdeckt, einem Mitglied der Kaou-Kai.
