What it’s about. Ritsuka Tachibana ist im zweiten Jahr auf der Shikou Schule. Ihren Alltag verbringt sie friedlich mit ihrer Mutter Maria. Auch ihr Schulleben ist alles andere als interessant. Doch dies ändert sich, als ihr Mutter eines Tages von Unbekannten entführt und die Wohnung verwüstet wird. Als sie jedoch die Polizei verständigt, sieht es so aus, als wäre nichts passiert ‒ nur ihre Mutter bleibt verschwunden. Ritsuka beginnt eigene Nachforschungen anzustellen und hat dabei die vier Schulsprecher Rem, Urie, Mage und Shiki auf ihrer Seite, die plötzlich ein merkwürdiges Interesse an ihr entwickelt haben. Und auch ihr Bruder Lindo kommt kurzerhand aus England zurück. Schnell merkt Ritsuka, dass es um mehr zu gehen scheint als nur das Verschwinden ihrer Mutter.
