What it’s about. Die Nacht vor Beginn der Sommerferien. Daichi Manatsu, ein Hochschulschüler der 2. Klasse, beobachtet eine eigenartige Erscheinung am Himmel: Ein runder Regenbogen fliegt über Seed Island. Mit der Erinnerung an seinen toten Vater und an das Treffen mit zwei mysteriösen Personen, beschließt er, sich der schwebenden Insel zu nähern.
