Oktober 2006 als Maskottchen von Nitro, in ihrem seit 2000 jährlich stattfindenden „Live Music Festival Event " im Shiba Park in Minato-Ku. Die Serie Super Sonico The Animation dreht sich um Sonico, ihre Leidenschaft das Gitarre spielen und ihren Traum einmal eine berühmte Musikerin zu werden. Trotz der Schule und der Mitgliedschaft in der Band "First Astronomical Velocity" ist sie nebenberuflich noch als Model tätig. Dort darf sie sich mit den Eskapaden ihres Managers Kitamura herumschlagen, der eine erschreckende Dämonenmaske trägt und es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, die etwas naive Sonico auf ihrem Weg zu beschützen.
