The government constantly deciding what is good or bad for us, the general public thinking they can make or break people, media watchers steering us in certain directions. About the distorted form of social control that, strangely enough, goes hand in hand with a form of apathy. We are no longer Generation X, but Generation Nothing. We have so little to do that other people's lives become our entertainment. That's why the title of this show is "Interesting Times." Named after the curse the Chinese utter on someone they wish ill upon: "May you live in interesting times."
