What it’s about. Sakamoto Ryuuta ist 22 Jahre alt, arbeitslos und lebt bei seiner Mutter, wo er seine Zeit mit dem Kampfspiel „BTOOOM“ verbringt und es unter die besten Spieler der ganzen Welt geschafft hat. Eines Tages erwacht er auf einer tropischen Insel, ohne Erinnerung wie er dorthin gekommen ist. Auf der Suche nach anderen Leuten begegnet er einem Fremden, der auf seinen Zuruf mit dem Wurf einer BIM-Bombe antwortet, die Ryuuta sonst nur aus seinem Spiel kennt. Mit Schrecken muss Ryuuta schließlich erkennen, dass er in einer realen Version von BTOOOM gefangen ist und nun um sein Leben kämpfen muss.
