What it’s about. Als Sally Gilmartin ihrer Tochter Ruth offenbart, in Wirklichkeit eine ganz andere zu sein, ist das für die junge Studentin zunächst kaum zu glauben. Aber tatsächlich hieß Sally in Wirklichkeit mal Eva Delectorskaya und ist als solche von den Briten unmittelbar vor Ausbruch des Zweiten Weltkrieges für den Geheimdienst rekrutiert worden. Zunächst in Belgien und in den USA, gelingt es ihr äußerst erfolgreich, Fehlinformationen zu streuen. Als aber ein Kollege nach dem anderen ums Leben kommt, ist sie auch in allerhöchster Gefahr. Und daran hat sich - 30 Jahre später - offenbar wenig geändert.
