Eines Tages bekommt er von seinem Freund ein neues Handy, weil er sein altes aus Versehen kaputt gemacht hat. Dieses Handy, das er bekam, ist das „Zukunftstagebuch“. Mit diesem Zukunftstagebuch nimmt er an einem Spiel teil, dessen Ziel es ist, sich gegenseitig zu töten und so den Platz des Gottes Deus einzunehmen. Yuno Furusaki ist in Arata verliebt und möchte ihm unter die Arme greifen. 35Es gibt Parallelen zur TV Version, aber dennoch unterscheidet sich die Handlung sehr stark, weil die Charakterbesetzung anders ist.
