Zusammen mit seinem Zwillingsbruder Yukio, der das ganze Gegenteil von Rin zu sein scheint, lebt er bei seinem Ziehvater. Pater Fujimoto liebt beide Brüder, denn er weiß: Sie sind die Söhne Satans! Eines Tages, als auch Rin der Wahrheit ins Auge blicken muss, öffnet sich das Tor zur Welt der Dämonen. Satan will seinen Sohn mit sich nehmen, doch Pater Fujimoto opfert sich für ihn. Für Rin steht fest: Niemand soll mehr sterben, weil er sich nicht verteidigen kann! Doch wie verteidigt man sich gegen den Teufel? Man wird Exorzist!
