What it’s about. Caprica, 58 Jahre vor dem Untergang der zwölf Kolonien. Der Mega-Konzern Graystone unter der Leitung von Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) steht an vorderster Front bei der Entwicklung künstlicher Intelligenz, interaktiver Unterhaltung, aber auch bei der Kriegstechnologie. Als seine Tochter bei einem Terroranschlag ums Leben kommt, entdeckt er eine lebensechte „Kopie“ in einer virtuellen Welt, die diese vor ihrem Tode stark frequentiert hat. Daniel setzt alles daran, sie wieder in seine Welt zurück zu bringen und experimentiert dabei mit seiner neuesten technischen Entwicklung – einem Kampfroboter unter dem Namen „Zylon“.
