What it’s about. In der rasanten Showreihe "American Ninja Warrior" gilt es eine Reihe von anspruchsvollen Hindernisparcours zu absolvieren. In drei regionalen Wettbewerben kämpfen die Teilnehmer um die Qualifikation. Die jeweils 30 besten Athleten dürfen dann an dem großen Finale in Las Vegas teilnehmen, wo sie ein atemberaubender Vierstufen-Parcour nach dem Vorbild des berühmten Midoriyama-Kurs in Japan erwartet. Obwohl bereits viele motivierte Athleten teilgenommen haben, konnte bis dato noch niemand den ganzen Parcour bezwingen. Klassiker unter den Parcours sind die "Warped Wall" und "Salmon Ladder". Nur wer über eine ausgeprägte Ausdauer, gute Balance und die richtige Griffstärke verfügt, hat eine Chance, sich gegen die harte Konkurrenz und den Parcour durchzusetzen. Der Gewinner darf 500.000 US-Dollar mit nach Hause nehmen.
