What it’s about. Lauren „LC“ Conrad ist nach Los Angeles gezogen um dort Modedesign zu studieren und zusätzlich bei der angesagten Zeitschrift „Teen Vogue“ als Praktikantin zu arbeiten. Der Wechsel aus der bekannten Umgebung von Laguna in das wilde Stadtleben der kalifornischen Metropole gestaltet sich natürlich nicht einfach, denn schon durch die Uni und das Praktikum hat die gute Lauren allerhand zu tun. Zusätzlich wird sie von ihrer neuen Freundin Heidi, einem waschechten Partygirl, von Club zu Club geschleppt. Wer denkt, dass der Stress da aufhört irrt gewaltig, denn wie aus dem Nichts erhält „LC“ einen Anruf von ihrem Exfreund Jason. Es sieht ganz so aus, als ob die beiden vor einem Neuanfang stehen, aber kann man diesem aufgewärmten Glück trauen?
