What it’s about. Die Serie dreht sich um ein junges Vampir-Mädchen namens Karin, dessen Familie aus Europa stammt und vor 200 Jahren nach Japan gezogen ist. Sie ist das schwarze Schaf der Familie, denn während ihre Eltern und Geschwister typische Blutsauger sind, die tagsüber in ihren Särgen schlafen und nachts auf „Opferjagd“ gehen, tanzt sie völlig aus der Reihe. Nicht nur, dass sie morgens wie ein ganz normaler Teenager zur Schule geht und nebenbei auch noch als Kellnerin arbeitet, sie leidet außerdem unter einem für Vampire sehr ungewöhnlichem Phänomen: Ihr Körper produziert zu viel Blut, sodass sie einmal im Monat ihr Blut an ein Opfer abgeben muss. Eines Tages trifft Karin den neuen Schüler Usui Kenta und es beginnt eine witzige Lovestory...
