What it’s about. Der Kurzfilm zeigt, wie der Hund Dug den Weg zu Carl und Russell findet (siehe "Oben"): Dug hat heute Geburtstag. Eigentlich sollte dies ein schöner Tag werden, doch dann versaut er seinem Anführer Alpha und dessen zwei Helfern Beta und Gamma die Jagd auf einen Vogel. Damit er ihnen nicht noch mal in die Quere kommt, gibt Alpha ihm eine Spezialmission: er soll den "Lieblingsstein des Vogels" bewachen und Alarm schlagen, sobald er den Vogel sieht. Allerdings sorgt Dug selbst bei dieser einfachen Aufgabe für Chaos...
