Er will Terry aber zusehen, um zu erfahren, wie es ist, wenn man weiss, dass man sterben muss. Denn Nick ist selbst todkrank und hat nur noch wenige Wochen zu leben. Dafür soll Terry, der nie träumt, Nick helfen, vor seinem Hinschied noch ein paar Fantasien zu verwirklichen. Wenn Terry danach immer noch sterben wolle, verspricht Nick, ihn umzubringen.
