Endlich kämpft RoboCop wieder gegen das Verbrechen in den Straßen von Delta City, dem ehemaligen Detroit. Was 1987 mit dem Original-Streifen des Kultregisseurs Paul Verhoeven begann, findet in dieser vierteilige Miniserie unter dem Titel RoboCop Prime Directives seine spannende Fortsetzung. Und so geht es in den einzelnen Episoden Dark Justice , Meltdown , Resurection und Cash & Burn in gewohnter RoboCop-Manier zur Sache. Action pur ist angesagt! Delta City gilt mittlerweile als sicherste Stadt der Welt und RoboCop Alex Murphy wird langsam alt. Sein Sohn James ist inzwischen ein hochrangiger Mitarbeiter des OCP-Konzerns geworden, der das futuristische Delta City steuert. Doch ahnt dieser aber nichts davon, dass sein Vater noch lebt. Aber so sicher ist die Stadt denn doch nicht, denn der OCP ist zerfressen von Korruption und Intrigen.
