What it’s about. Der Elektriker Gus will mit Freunden eine alte Bowlingbahn in New York kaufen. Da die Unterhaltszahlungen an seine Ex-Frau Lee sein gesamtes Einkommen auffressen, muß er sich etwas einfallen lassen, um das nötige Kapital aufzubringen. Schließlich kommt ihm die Idee, Lee wieder "an den Mann zu bringen", um die lästigen Zahlungen loszuwerden. Diese ist anfangs gar nicht begeistert, verliebt sich aber dann doch in einen der Heiratskandidaten, die Gus für sie ausgesucht hat. Plötzlich merkt Gus, daß er Lee doch lieber für sich alleine hätte.
