What it’s about. Die Yomotas sind eine kleine und typische Familie: Vater Kinekuni (42), Mutter Tamiko (38) und Sohn Inumaru (17). Eines Tages erscheint ein schönes Mädchen an ihrer Haustür und stellt sich als "Maroko Yomota" Enkelin von Inumaru vor. Maroko reist mit einer Zeitmaschine, um ihre Vorfahren zu besuchen. Tamiko möchte nicht, dass das Mädchen bleibt, doch Kinekuni und Inumaru heißen sie herzlich als ihren Gast willkommen. Und so geschieht es, dass die Harmonie in der Familie allmählich ins Wanken gerät.
