What it’s about. Herrlich alberne Robin-Hood-Parodie, die alle Beteiligten als Komplettdeppen zeigt. Robin Hood (Dick Gautier), Bruder Tuck (Dick Van Patten), Little John (David Sabin), Alan-a-Dale (Bernie Kopell) und Renaldo (der wie sein böser Zwillingsbruder Bertram von Richard Dimitri gespielt wird) sind dem schwulen Prinz John (Ron Rifkin) und Hubert, dem Sheriff von Nottingham (Henry Polic II.), nur deshalb überlegen, weil diese eben noch einen Tick beknackter sind als der König der Diebe und seine Mannen. Robin liebt auch diesmal Lady Marian (Misty Rowe), hier natürlich eine hohle Braut. Bei dieser mit visuellen und inhaltlichen Gags derart voll gepackte Serie konnte man beim einmaligen Anschauen gar nicht alles wahrnehmen. Mel Brooks griff das Thema später in seinem Kinofilm „Robin Hood – Helden in Strumpfhosen“ noch einmal auf.
