What it’s about. Nach ihrer Verbannung aus Rom kehrt die hübsche Salome zu ihrem Stiefvater König Herodes und ihrer Mutter Königin Herodias nach Galiläa zurück. Dort versucht Herodias gerade, ihren Gatten davon zu überzeugen, dass man Johannes den Täufer hinrichten lassen müsse.
