What it’s about. Der attraktive Fliegeroffizier Paul Wendlandt und die Saengerin Hanna Holberg verlieben sich in Berlin, als er aus Nordafrika fuer einen Tag in die Reichshauptstadt kommt. Aber seine staendigen Kriegseinsaetze und ihre wechselhaften Show-Auftritte erleichtern regelmaessige Zusammentreffen nicht besonders. Ihre Hochzeit muss deswegen mehrmals aufgeschoben werden, und als Wendlandts bester Freund an der Front zu Tode kommt, will er sich von Hanna trennen. Er selbst wird abgeschossen und Hanna macht sich auf den Weg, ihren schwer verletzten Verlobten im Kriegs-Lazarett zu besuchen.
