What it’s about. Neues Haus, neues Glück? Von wegen! Gerade ein Jahr sind die schrecklichen Ereignisse her, mit denen sich Malcolm und seine damalige Frau Kisha konfrontiert sehen mussten, als ein Poltergeist zuerst ihr Haus heimsuchte und schließlich von Kisha Besitz nahm. Kisha ist mittlerweile bei einem Autounfall ums Leben gekommen, aber dieses geht schließlich weiter und so hat Malcolm inzwischen Megan geheiratet. Mit ihr und ihren zwei Kindern aus erster Ehe zieht er in eine neue Wohnung weit weg von den Gräueln des letzten Jahres. Doch schon beim Einzug deuten gravierende Geschehnisse auf die Rückkehr des Paranormalen hin. Als schließlich die von den Toten zurückgekehrte Kisha ausgerechnet in die Nachbarschaft zieht, ist Schluss mit lustig und ein weiterer Exorzismus muss her. Und diesmal ein definitiver!

How it landed. With an audience score of 6.1/10, Ghost Movie 2 has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $25.3M at the box office.
