What it’s about. Niccolo Vivaldi ist ein talentierter, aber versagender Cellist im berühmten Amphitheater-Orchester von Verona. Als seine Frau, das unscheinbare, aber sympathische Bauernmädchen Costanza, in die Reha muss, ist Niccolo dabei, als sie sich vor den Ärzten auszieht - und plötzlich merkt er, dass seine Frau eine Bombe wie keine andere ist! Und er erfährt auch, wie man die Bewunderung bekommt, die er verzweifelt sucht. Niccolo beginnt einfach damit, Costanza nackt zu fotografieren, und gewinnt Selbstwertgefühl, nachdem er sie seinen Kollegen gezeigt hat. Aber seine Rollenspiele und zunehmend wilden sexuellen Fantasien stellen ihre Beziehung auf die Probe.
