What it’s about. An einer südkalifornischen Highschool fristet Brendan Frye ein selbst gewähltes Außenseiter-Dasein. Doch Einzelkämpfer Brendan denkt gar nicht daran, sich jemandem unterzuordnen. Er sucht so lange weiter, bis er der grausamen Wahrheit gegenüber steht. Film erhielt den Spezialpreis der Jury für Originalität des Sundance Film Festival 2005.
