What it’s about. Als Industriedesigner Glauco nach Hause kommt, hat sich seine Frau bereits mit Kopfschmerzen ins Bett zurückgezogen. Er beschließt, sich selbst etwas zu kochen, und stößt dabei auf eine alte Zeitung mit der Nachricht vom Tode des amerikanischen Gangsters Dillinger. In die Zeitung eingewickelt ist ein Revolver, den Glauco an sich nimmt und säubert. Später in der Nacht schläft er mit dem Zimmermädchen und erschießt seine Frau. Am Morgen bricht er auf einem Schiff in Richtung Tahiti auf.
