What it’s about. Lorenzo, ein knallharter Polizist, wird versetzt nachdem er bei einem Einsatz eine Gang von drogendealern tötet. In seiner neuen Dienststelle freundet er sich mit Andrea, einem jungen Cop mit gebrochenem Herz, an. Sie bekommen den Auftragden kriminellen Sante im Krankenhaus zu bewachen. Ihm gelingt allerdings die Flucht als Lorenzo die beiden für eine Weile alleine läßt. Zusammen machen sich die zwei Polizisten auf die Suche nach dem entflohenen Sante, um ihn noch vor dem Schichtwechsel wieder zurück ins Krankenhaus zu bringen, da sie sonst Ihren Job verlieren. Was am Anfang wie ein Routinejob aussieht, hat jedoch ein tragisches Ende für einen der beiden Polizisten.
